Globe Pro Fiji on at Perfect Cloudbreak – the Action Starts at 8am

TAVARUA, Fiji (Monday, May 26, 2008) – The Globe Pro Fiji is on again today, Monday, May 26, 2007. Competition will be held in eight to 10 foot (three metre plus) waves at Cloudbreak. Winds are offshore and the sun is shining – in short, the ASP Top 45 will enjoy another day on the ‘Dream Tour.’

Event officials ran 18 heats of competition yesterday and will endeavor to run at least that today. The first heat of the day, Heat 3 of Round 2, will feature Kai Otton (AUS) versus 1999 ASP World Champion and event winner Mark Occhilupo (AUS). Occhilupo retired last year but was granted a wildcard into the Globe Pro Fiji for 2008.

Competition will commence at 8am.
